So he's gonna run the defense, the same as Tourigny presumably.

Farrish is definitely qualified though. Tons of experience.

Would've liked Groulx, but if Patrick really went with somebody else over a French-speaking, QMJHL guy, he must have been really impressed. Quietly confident about the hirings. Also like getting a guy who's not even 30 and has almost a decade of video experience. Dinosaurs are extinct for a reason, good to see us adding some young minds who might have different perspectives on the game.

I don't think he does. Then again, Sakic and Roy seem to value toughness and physicality very highly as well so maybe that's what they were going for.

All I know is that Leafs fans hated him but they also hated Allaire so maybe it'll work out.

A good piece on the new video coach. It sounds like his way of going about things is revolutionary, or unique at the very least. Seems like a good move that opened up with the coaching change in San Jose this offseason.
