Excited to see how he fits in.

Am perfectly fine with the price.

I like the idea of a genuine speed line with Hintz and Seguin.

Giving Spezza one more chance and putting him with Benn and Radulov.

Id be open to a few line up changes but part of me would lile to see this.

Hintz-Seguin-Zuccarallo
Benn-Spezza-Radulov
Janmark-Faksa-Comeau
Cogliano-Dickinson-Ritchie

With Pitlick to take the last spot once healthy over Val and ritchie

I'd be fine with resigning him if he shows us he's a keeper in the next couple months.

Just glad this (hopefully) staples Val to pressbox.
Getting Nichushkin, Honka and Ritchie out would be ideal, should be more trades to come maybe Nill will just try to recoup picks with them, instead of adding another player for the deadline
Obviously keeping one of the forwards as #13,(Ritchie I'd say as he's cheapest) but Something like
Honka to the Wings for a 4th. Or Honka and a 4th for a 3rd kind of thing.
and Nichushkin and a future 3rd for a 5th or something

It's funny that Dallas still has those guys. I suspect that is what Nill is going to do. Although, I think Honka and Ritchie are going to be moved before Nuke (maybe we can geta 5th for each). I can't see a lot of teams lining up for a winger that is making 3M and has zero goals, unless Dallas provides an incentive to take Nuke off their hands.

Nuke for Zack Smith and a 3rd round pick. Cheap a** Melnyk would love to get out of that contract. Maybe even give up a 2nd.

Oh boy has this been an emotional night. I was hoping for a fairytale contract extension, but fairytales aren't a thing I suppose.

Zuccarello is the big leading star for Norwegian hockey, and I am sure that you are going to see an influx in posters from Norway and new fans of the Dallas Stars. Zucc has in many ways been the heart of the New York Rangers together with Hank the last seasons, and he leaves a beloved fan favorite. Zucc has been the teams top producer 3 out of the 4 last seasons, and the only reason he's not produced higher has been the lack of true scorers on the Rangers. Maybe with Seguin and Jamie Benn that can change.

I hope the team makes good use of Zucc and slots him on a line where he can thrive with great players, and work as a catalys for the offense.

Zuccs strength comes primarily from his extreme vision and ability to thread needle passes across ice to open up plays, as well as incredible strength for his size along the boards and fearless tenacity. He will not back down to players that towers over him, and I hope that he will continue to lead by example here as he did in New York.

Dalls plays after New York today, so I will definitely be watching my first Dallas game today against Chicago. I'm a Rangers fan, but Zucc is a special guy and I'd like to see him his first outing with a new team.

Could you afford Brassard? What would be the ask from Florida? I hope Zucc gets that first line going big time like he did with the Rangers first line.
Congrats guys on "scoring" our Zuccha! You know, you guys are going to love him (not as much as us though).
He will raise your top or 2nd line as he is so very adaptable. Give him scoring talent, he will get many assists.
On 2nd line? No prob, he will raise that line where everyone can score more and he will chip in. Great on PP, okay on PK (he is smallish you know, but carries a big stick) and a shootout specialist......albeit that doesnt mean that much come PO's, but it may help you win a game or 3 before then, that you may need.......just saying. Anyway, good luck, and now I have another reason to watch yet another team.

P.S. For all the barking done by your GM over Benn and Seguin NOT playing up to their paychecks......watch what happens now with Zuccha in the midst. Baaaah baaaam! Shaaazam,

Watching those videos, I didn't know two things about Zuccarello. Damn he's good with his feet. He can really catch off target passes with his feet and put himself in a position to score. That one clip of him with a broken stick in the defensive zone collecting and booting the puck out was pretty impressive too. The other thing is I really didn't understand how tough that little dude is. He doesn't seem to take a lot of guff.
