He certainly is. Many WHL teams wishing they had a do over on passing on this kid . Has huge college and USHL interest . Now even bigger per his bio from the Canada games. Led the CSSHL Midget prep league in scoring for d and was the top point getter on his team .

Most 16 year olds playing Jr don't get much opportunity. For just turning 16 and playing in a league which allows 6 20 year olds his numbers are pretty on par . Especially for a d man. Certainly needs to improve on those numbers next season and beyond !

yawn. just another example of a late birthday kid overlooked and overshadowed at 13 and 14 by his jan and feb -born peers. Things change though..:)

This is what I had written down from a game I recently saw him play.

All-arounder on the back-end. Pretty good playmaker though. Lacks flash. 2022 pick, so his lack of impact now doesn’t matter that much. Probably a round 2-3 type of player.

Really nice season having.

12 goals, 32 points.

However, as the season progressed, prince george cougar's season
has gone to shitters, obviously it effects on ones +/-

19 wins, 32 losses, they are about -50

His 12 goals is 7th best in the WHL among d-men
His 32 points is 16th best in the WHL among d-men

14 goals and about 50 points last season for a bad team
was ranked from 3rd to 7th rounds, didn't get drafted :(

Good start for his D+1 season, which, if nothing doesn't go horribly wrong
will be his draft year.

2 goals, 3 assists, +3 with 9 sog, through first 3 games.
- for the 18 year old

Is listed now 5 foot 11 and 185

Agreed - thought he’d get a call their last season but alas to no avail.
Chl players get screwed over nowadays when it comes to the draft. Once you get to the 4th, even 3rd round really teams want the long term prospects(college/europe) who will theoretically be more ready for pro hockey once signed. The amusing thing is though the majority of them are never good enough for pro and the undrafted chlers get the elcs/ahl deals.
