Just wanted to post my roster, for the heck of it. I also had to sign a couple of "no name" players to one year deals, to ridiculous contracts, in order to reach the cap floor... since no one wanted to trade me their overpriced scraps for cap relief.

We feel we have a very solid base of youngsters to build a potential contender and maybe a dynasty. We have a heavy set of prospects as well with the likes of Merrill, Gélinas, Tedenby, Rask, Dalpe, Scandella, Adams, Urbom, Matteau, Severson, Wedgewood, etc, etc, etc. We also hold three picks in the top #60, including the 7th overall selection.

Vote :caps over Bruins.

More firepower, more depth, better offense, better defense, similar goaltending.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

That's 269 goals(repeat 269! Only 1 team in the league had more than 269 last year) just from that forward group alone. Not even considering that the majority of those players are great playmakers as well and will only cause their linemates totals to increase even more. Or taking into consideration Green would probably be a 20g 60a guy with this team, Carlson would score 10+ goals and 45 points easy, and Seidenberg and Orlov would be in the 30 point range. This team is stacked on offense and defense! No team in the league could stop the offensive arsenal that this roster has, and this team will be very good defensively as well!

Vote :caps

-Amazing 1st line
-Best 2nd and 3rd line in the NHL (both would be great 1st lines)
-Great energy 4th line that can chip in on offense
-Great 2 Way Forwards...Backstrom, Eriksson, Pominville, Hendricks, and Malhotra are all great defensive forwards
-2 1st Pairing caliber defense pairs... Seidenberg-Green, Alzner-Carlson... That's 4 Defensemen that can all play on 1st D pairings on many teams!
-Great 3rd defense pairing... Ference-Orlov
-Young stud goalie. You can say he's unproven, but the best way to predict his performance in these playoffs is by what he has done in the playoffs in real life!

Vote :caps

We have it all! Firepower, depth, 2 way forwards, offensive Defensemen, playmakers, snipers, and a young stud at goalie!

Overview
This team has franchise talent all-round. Our defensive prospect depth is amazing, with guys like Murray, Jones, Lindholm, Nurse, Zadarov, Trouba, Pouliot etc. etc. etc. Not only do we have potential on defence, we have very young defensive guys who are established, and haven't even come close to their potential, such as Josi, Larsen and Schultz. We have THE top CHL goalie in John Gibson, who has elite goalie potential. We have an established young goalie in Dubnyk, with a high potential Jack Campbell right behind him. Our offensive depth is one of our biggest strengths. Not only does the Stars have an unbeatable defence and incredible goaltending to back the defence up, we have all of the fire-power in the world. We have very very high potential guys like Kunetsov, Tarasenko, Shinkaruk, and Schwartz. We have established guys that haven't even come close to their potential in Johansen, Johansson, Burmistrov and Hagelin. And we have tons and tons of first line potential in Sheifele, Etem, Paajarvi, Rattie, DSP, Carrier, Faksa, etc. etc. etc. If a fraction of these guys reach their potential, this is a team that will be considered a cup favourite year after year, feared by all teams. We feel in Dallas that we have gotten far and beyond what we could have with all of our assets.

We have some very very good young talent on our roster and incredible prospect depth. I think if there is such thing as a perfect rebuild this is it. The Dallas Stars is a dynasty in the making.

Incredible Forward depth, most of the team has won the cup before. Solid defense led by Bogosian, Doughty and Willie Mitchell. Best Goalie in the world. 1st line is menacing to go up against. 2nd line can score all day. 3rd line has a 60pt scorer and a 40 pt. scorer on it. Penner on the 4th line is awesome. Whole team is reliable defensively.

Nothing but respect for the Nucks and their GM. Considering the time he had to work with compared to the rest of us to build his team he did a great job and has built a great team.

Shocked to be upset by the sharks , good job mystifo but I can now say to the :flyers did I not say " out first round " :p

But... the flyers are the mightiest of them all! All teams have no depth but the flyers are stacked every single line. NoooOoOOooOoo
