Incredible Forward depth, most of the team has won the cup before. Solid defense led by Bogosian, Doughty and Willie Mitchell. Best Goalie in the world. 1st line is menacing to go up against. 2nd line can score all day. 3rd line has a 60pt scorer and a 40 pt. scorer on it. Penner on the 4th line is awesome. Whole team is reliable defensively.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

That's 269 goals(repeat 269! Only 1 team in the league had more than 269 last year) just from that forward group alone. Not even considering that the majority of those players are great playmakers as well and will only cause their linemates totals to increase even more. Or taking into consideration Green would probably be a 20g 60a guy with this team, Carlson would score 10+ goals and 45 points easy, and Seidenberg and Orlov would be in the 30 point range. This team is stacked on offense and defense! No team in the league could stop the offensive arsenal that this roster has, and this team will be very good defensively as well!

Vote :caps

-Amazing 1st line
-Best 2nd and 3rd line in the NHL (both would be great 1st lines)
-Great energy 4th line that can chip in on offense
-Great 2 Way Forwards...Backstrom, Eriksson, Pominville, Hendricks, and Malhotra are all great defensive forwards
-2 1st Pairing caliber defense pairs... Seidenberg-Green, Alzner-Carlson... That's 4 Defensemen that can all play on 1st D pairings on many teams!
-Great 3rd defense pairing... Ference-Orlov
-Young stud goalie. You can say he's unproven, but the best way to predict his performance in these playoffs is by what he has done in the playoffs in real life!

Vote :caps

We have it all! Firepower, depth, 2 way forwards, offensive Defensemen, playmakers, snipers, and a young stud at goalie!

We are happy to be back in the playoffs after a painful 3 years wait. The team is better than it was last year, and still has a great future ahead. On the other hand, playing the Rangers is some tough luck. But our team has some great leaders that can step up their game and take some wins out of our opponents.

vote :canes for a great underdog playoff story !

We wish the Winnipeg Jets luck in the first round! They made a huge splash, swapping Evander Kane and Zach Bogosian for highly talented Anze Kopitar, and they brought back old favourite Teemu Selanne. They will pose a great challenge, and we hope that our high octane offense and physical forwards will be the difference in round one!

Offense

Despite a down year last year, the Canucks' first line is still one of the best in the league. The Sedins' chemistry is unparalleled and Burrows is the perfect match for them. Like previously stated, Kesler now has Parenteau to play with him. A playmaking winger is exactly what he needed. Higgins round out the second line nicely. Grabovski is centering our third line with two solid players in Kelly and Wellwood. The fourth line has an excellent faceoff man with Steckel, a 20 goal scorer in Sykora, and a pest in Lapierre.

Defense

The Canucks top four is almost identical to last year. Instead of Salo there's Garrison who's a great replacement. Our third pairing is much improved with it now being Tallinder and Orpik, guys that would be in most teams' top four.

Goalie

In goal the Canucks are going with Schneider who despite never playing a full season as the starter is easily capable of doing so. He's outplayed Luongo the last couple of years. Enough to put Luongo on the block. He's more than capable of being a starter, and an excellent one at that.

So vote for the Canucks. We have everything.

Star power
Amazing center depth
Great wingers
Scoring on every line
Great defensive forwards
Incredible depth on both offense and defense
Fantastic goaltending

Actually... I'm going to say.

I originally stated it was scary for Hiller. But he is not the only Duck it's scary for. Also Tyutin and Kuba; they'd both be playing 45-50 minutes if the team hopes to stay within 5 goals. And that's WITH the Malkin line, the Jokinen line, and Hiller.

It's like getting your best silk shirt and tie, gold cufflinks, sharp blue blazer, shined-up brand new black leather shoes... and no pants. Tyutin and Kuba can be the underwear, because they're all up in a man's business.

WHY VOTE FOR US?

1) Star power. Pittsburgh currently has the greatest forward (Crosby), defenseman (Weber), and goalie (Rinne) in the game all on one team. They also have a top 3 offensive d-man in Kris Letang, a top 20 forward in Ryan Getzlaf, a 40 goal scorer in James Neal, and 3 elite forwards in Michael Ryder, Nick Foligno, and Chris Stewart. Not only will this star power put people in the stands, but they will also provide a show that no other team can match.

2) Goalpalooza. Sidney Crosby finally gets two star wingers to play with in James Neal and Chris Stewart. Both are power-forward types that, when playing with a player like Crosby, can easily put up 30-40 goals. The second line puts together a top 20 forward with a 50 point scorer with a 30 goal scorer. With guys like Getzlaf and Foligno passing him the puck, Ryder will have a breakout year and has the ability to hit 40 goals. When it comes to defense, guys like Robidas and Letang will help put the last pieces in the best power play in the NHL. Robidas will shine next to Weber and has the potential to have a career year. If Letang stays healthy, he's the best offensive defenseman in the game.

3) Defense. In order to prevent the ****show of a performance that the Pens' defense had last playoffs, we have brought physical defenseman and fan favorite Hal Gill back to the team to play next to Letang. Letang and Gill will complement each other and will hold a chemistry as they had played with each other during the Pens cup run in 2009. We have also brought in Shea Weber, who will shine in Pittsburgh and will defend his status as the best defenseman in the game. In net is Pekka Rinne, who's superb goaltending will help the Pens exponentially.

4) Depth. We believe that we have three superb lines that we will go to battle with any day. If PMB is healthy, he can put up 50-60 points. Pascal Dupuis had 60 points last year and has the chance to do it again. Sean Bergenheim almost put up 20 goals last year in only 60 games, and with his new linemates he can easily score 30.

Why vote for the Pens over the Flyers? Better offense, better defense, better goaltending. If the Flyers could stop the Pens offense last year this year will be even worse, as Crosby and his new linemates will be having a field day against the Flyers defense. Another chokejob from Fleury? Won't happen with Rinne. But with the quality defense we have (2 of the 5 top defensemen in the league on one team!) I don't think we will have to rely on him that much.

The Flyers have a good lineup, but our lineup shows that we are the better team.

Happy you posted. I feel this is a solid team but the depth isn t there for your foward.

Flyers 4th line

Zac Rinaldo(544,444(1))-Brandon Sutter(2,067,667(2)) - R. Fedotenko(1,750,000(1))

vs

Pittsburgh 4th line

Joe Vitale ($0.550m) / Nick Bonino ($0.700m) / Benn Ferriero ($0.700m)

I just don't think Pitts have what it takes to outlast Flyers. A tad too weak at the moment. Good luck Pittsburgh.

That's debatable. I think that Vitale is a much better player than Rinaldo as he can pull off a much better grinder game, Sutter is a great 4th line center but there is no reason for him to be behind Couturier much less Schenn, Fetotenko is solid but I think he will be beat on the matchup with the speedy Ferriero.

Anyway, I don't think that fourth line play will decide this matchup. If you look at our top 2 lines and top 2 defense, there is no comparison. Flyers are a great team but I know that the Pens are better.

That's true but you really can't say Sutter is your 4th line center or you have better depth when your 2nd is Schenn and his is Getzlaf. Though I like your wing depth better. Pretty Even matchup IMO

We've taken a team built for the future , and have made them a top contender , i like this team quite a lot , we needed a goalie and defence , i got those while getting better veteran forwards and i beleive we got a really good top line , datsyuk and st.louis can set-up plays extremely well and Zetterberg can take the shot.

I had no idea we could send standing votes in , but with that being said im glad i received 4th! I truly believe my squad is better then the sharks for a couple reasons , Our offense Is going to score quite a bit And i don't know if they can score , there more of a tough team. I like our defense more , Burns who was there top D they traded for Timonen .. huge mistake.. and now they don't really have a #1 D or a top 2 Defensive D , We also have whitney to help our players score and Staal who can help lehtohnen out. GOAL TENDING , Tim thomas has been falling and didn't even wanna play this year , lehtohnen has been riseing and is so under-rated! Vote :edmonton OVER :sharks
