WHY TAMPA SHOULD WIN:

Troy Brouwer ($2.350m)/ Steven Stamkos ($7.500m) / Martin St. Louis ($5.625m)
Ryan Malone ($4.500m) / Daymond Langkow ($2.000m) / Ales Hemsky ($5.000m)
Danny Cleary ($2.800m) / Justin Abdelkader ($1.800m) / Brian Gionta ($5.000m)
Drew Miller ($0.838m) / Nate Thompson ($0.900m) / Benoit Pouliot ($1.800m)
Dana Tyrell ($0.600m)
DEFENSEMEN
Niklas Kronwall ($4.750m) / Victor Hedman ($4.000m)
Jordan Leopold ($3.000m) / Henrik Tallinder ($3.375m)
Mattias Ohlund ($3.607m) / Scott Hannan ($0.525m)
Brendan Mikkelson ($0.600m) /
GOALTENDERS
Pekka Rinne ($7.000m)
Dominik Hasek ($0.550m)

First off, great job as always Dong. You manage to be commish and still have time to put together a great team. Best of luck.

It is true that outside of the best goalscorer in the world and the best goalie in the world, we don't have quite the top end skill of other teams, but top end skill doesn't win in the playoffs.. Depth does. My 3rd line wingers are Brian Gionta and Danny Cleary, both of whom are top 6 on many teams in the league. There is no where in our line-up where we cannot simply overpower the caps with depth.

Oh, and by the way, the goalie matchup is Holtby vs. Rinne. RINNE. He will still a game or two, and that will put my team over the top.

I won't trash talk other GM's work. It was tough for everyone with the trade market being so low so i am proud of everyone. Here in WSH we believe our defense can lead us to the next round. Along with our avarge offense we believe we have what it takes to move on the the 2nd round :)

Philly vs. Buff

Very good job to Frolundasweden for building a contender out of a bubble team. I was Buffalo last game and can respect the job he did. However, I believe that my Flyers can handily defeat the Sabres in a playoff matchup

Offense: While Buffalo has two All-Stars on their first line in Patrick Kane and Jason Pominville, the rest of their offense is lacking in guaranteed scoring. Plekanec, Stewart and Lecavalier have both been declining over the last couple years, and Tyler Ennis has yet to breach the 50-point mark. Philadelphia, on the other hand, has two higher scoring All-stars on their top line in Claude Giroux and Jarome Iginla, as well as much greater scoring depth in their top six featuring the 30-goal prowess of Joe Pavelski, the excellent two-way play of Valteri Filpula, the speed and scoring of Jakub Voracek and the grit and drive of Wayne Simmonds. ADVANTAGE: Flyers

Defense: While Byfuglien and Enstrom are a very good pairing in terms of providing offense from the blueline, their defensive effort leaves something to be desired. Couple that with the rest of the top-four being rounded out by two veterans who played supporting roles to young stars (Jackman to Shattenkirk and Regehr to Myers) and you are left with a blueline that is surrounded by a lot of question marks. In the Orange and Black, we have a very strong top pairing of Timonen and Bouwmeester, which is capable of logging large minutes as well as providing offense and defense. When those two eventually come off the ice, they are replaced by the elite shutdown pairing of Grossman and Coburn, who matched up extremely well against the Malkin line in the playoffs. ADVANTAGE: Flyers

Goaltending: Its a goalie whose playoff claim to fame is letting the Flyers of 2010 come back from being down 3-0 in a series to win it 4-3, vs. a goaltender who has won a Vezina and been to the Stanley Cup Finals. No contest here. ADVANTAGE: Flyers

We feel an upset is ahead. Produce has a great team, but we have hard workers and know we can beat the kings.

I know everybody loves Produce but we got him this time;)
