With a mix of veterans and rookies, this team should do decent but still finish in the bottom 5, probably somewhere in the bottom 3.

Bump. I'll send in my votes later in the day, out atm.

James Neal - Anze Kopitar - Bobby Ryan
Ben Johnson - Kyle Turris - Shane Doan
Milan Michalek - Martin Hanzal - Jaromir Jagr
Leo Komarov - Paul Gaustad - Chris Neil

(Zach Smith)

Erik Johnson - Shea Weber
Andy Greene - Johnny Boychuk
Willie Mitchell - Denny Wideman

(Kevin Klein, Eric Gryba)

Jonathan Quick
Craig Anderson

In the system; Matt Dumba, Roland McKeown, Valentin Zykov, Mark Stone, Mike Hoffman, Shane Prince, Matt Puempel, Steve Santini....

Too many gm's contending and dissappearing to get my winger....but former Olympian Ben Johnson should give some blazing Olympic record breaking speed on the wing and should be a good compliment to Doan and Turris.

Building around Kopitar, Weber and Quick seems like a fool proof plan, and I like the mix of size, toughness and skill throughout the lineup.

Is that the same Ben Johnson who was charged with a count of sexual assault in the washroom of a Windsor nightclub?

Bro to be fair you should have some NHLers. If you have guys who were regulars last season aren't even prospects anymore, they SHOULD be on your NHL team. Guys like Shatty definitely should be on your roster.

This.

xxOPPNOOBZxx, your lineup must include all players on one-way contracts. The only way a guy like Shattenkirk could be sent down was if you put him through waivers, and he would quite obviously be claimed. I'm not even sure you've reached the cap floor, by the looks of it.

Well I was planning to trade Shatty before the trade deadline, but was unable to. The line-up I made was a line-up where I had hoped to have everyone traded, and posted before I had logged off for the the night last night. Then to quote my post I had done it on mobile. By the time I had logged onto a computer, many people have voted and to change my lines would results in the differing of votes and make the votes all flawed.

Also what's not to say that Shatty, and co are sitting the full season in the press box because they couldn't be traded?

Most people didn't even vote last night, you had plenty of time to change your roster and make a new one. And lets use common sense here, that scenario isn't going to happen/is a stupid reason (no offence).

A lot of us rebuilders could have done what you did and make a trash team but it's honestly an unfair way to try to "fail" for the 1st overall selection. If there are players on 1-way or are NHL regulars as of last season or earlier, they should be on your final team.
