.
[fieldset="Jobs"][/fieldset]

[fieldset="League Schedule"]
  • Game Start: 8/23/14 2:00pm EST
  • Buyout Window Ends: 8/24/14 5:00pm EST
  • Dispersal Draft: 8/24/14 6:00pm EST
  • Trading Deadline:
  • Standings Voting:
  • Quarterfinal Voting:
  • Semi-final Voting:
  • Conference Final Voting
  • Cup Finals:
  • Entry Draft:

All times are EST and are subject to change
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Salary Cap"]
  • $80,000,000M
  • All teams MUST be under the cap by the end of trade deadline day
  • Use Armchair GM to calculate your Team's Cap. Set it to "Today"
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Dispersal Draft Rules"]
  • The draft is 8 rounds long. The first four are for NHL players, and the fifth- eighth rounds is for prospects
  • NHL players are classified as players who have played in over 150 games. Any player who has played less will classify as a prospect. For goalies it is 50 games or more to qualify as an NHL.
  • The Draft starts at 6:00pm EST on Sunday 24th 2014
  • Each Team has 5 minutes to pick
  • The clock stops at 11:59pm EST and will start back up again at 5:00pm EST
  • You can still make your picks during the period that the clock is off
  • PM donghabs98 your list if you are going to be out or unable to make your pick at any point during the draft
  • It is a Snake Order so Buffalo will pick last in round 2 and first in round 3
  • Dispersal Picks can only be traded for other picks in the prospect or regular player round. For example you can trade any pick in rounds 1-4 for different picks in rounds 1-4. You can not trade any picks in round 1-4 for picks in the prospect draft and vice versa
  • Any players not selected will be going to the KHL

  • Teams being Disperse

    :ducks :bruins :hawks :avs :kings :habs :pens :sharks :blues :bolts
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Buyouts"]
  • Buyouts will be before the Draft.
  • There will be a 24 hour period you can buyout any player you want and they will no longer be on your cap. Unlike regular Buyouts where some of the players cap is still on your roster
  • Any Buyouts that are after that time will be normal buy outs
  • Post the Players who you are buying out in the Buyout Thread
  • Buyout Players will become UFA and can be signed by anyone except the team who bought him out.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Trades"]
  • Trades don't need to be sent in
  • When a deal is deemed too lopsided or one sided the deal will be put on hold. The GMs involved in the deal will be asked to revise it. After which the league will hold a meeting with the GMs involved and will approve or deny the change. The role of the league office is not to make the deal fair but to make it less one sided.
  • You must post a roster full of team info before being allowed to trade
  • You may not make any trades untill you post your roster.Any deals made before will be put on hold and will not be offical untill your roster is posted
  • Keep in mind that any deal the League thinks is outrageous can and will be vetoed, so don't pull anything stupid.
  • If a deal is vetoed, you won't be able to make the exact deal again.
  • You may only retain a max of 50% of a player's cap
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Waivers"]
  • If you'd like to place a player on waivers, post in this thread along with the player's contract information.
  • To save time and avoid confusion and complications, waivers will be "first come, first serve". Whoever puts in a claim first will get the player.
  • If you claim a player and he puts you over the cap, it will be vetoed and the said player will be put back on the waiver wire.
  • Teams will have 12 hours to claim a player off the wire before he clears.
  • GMs can only claim 3 players off waivers at a time (for example claiming 6 players at once will not count)
  • Once a player is placed on waivers, he cannot be taken out until he clears. Once he clears, you may send him through re-entry waivers if you wish, but keep in mind if someone puts in a claim you will have to pay half of the player's salary and cap hit.
  • If a player clears only 900K of his cap hit will no longer count.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Agents"][/fieldset]

[fieldset="Re-signings and signings"]
  • To re-sign a player on your team, PM the respective agents for your RFA's,
  • Pending FA's can be found at CapGeekTry to re-sign in groups, it makes it easier for the agents.
  • Don't skimp out on an offer, if you make a terrible offer the player may not re-sign with you at all.
  • Not all players will re-sign, in fact, the majority will probably test free agency.
  • Any player not re-signed by 11:59 P.M. the day before free agency will enter free agency, and you will not have exclusive rights.
  • Just because you made the first, or highest, offer for a player during free agency does NOT mean he will sign with you. Many factors go into a player signing so nothing is a sure thing.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset="Other Rules"]
  • Inactivity will not be accepted. If you have just one post in the thread one day before the deadline, you will be fired.
  • You MUST keep your roster and Trading block Update
  • Posting in the thread doesn't necissarily mean you will get the job you wanted. Post the team you want and the job you want and I will determine who gets the jobs.
  • If it's proven that you have not kept your roster updated through out the game
  • Not keeping your roster updated is considered a sign of inactivity and if your roster is found to be significantly out of date then you will be fired .
  • If you are not active for longer then 36 hours without giving notice you will risk being fired
  • If a player is out for the season due to injury, he can't be added to your roster and won't count against your cap. If he's injured but not expected to be out for the rest of the season, he's in play and still counts.
  • If you have any questions regarding the game or how it works, feel free to ask me.

Please read the OP over carefully. This game is slightly different from other Dispersal Games. The top 10 teams (determined by the NHL regular season standings) have been eliminated. The remaining 20 teams will select players off of the 10 dispersed teams. There will be 7 rounds in the Dispersal Draft. Rounds 1-4 are for NHL players and rounds 5-7 are for prospects. The Order will be determined by the team's placing in the regular season standings. It will be a Snake Draft so the last team in each round picks first in the next round

There will be a 24 hour buyout period before the draft. You can buyout any player from your roster and their cap hit will be completely wipe off your cap. Any buyouts afterwards will count towards your cap. Also any players placed on waivers will only have 900K of their cap hit off their cap. So for example if a player is waived and has a cap hit of 2.9M then 900K is taken off but the 2M still counts. So take advantage of the buyout period.

PM me a list of teams you want to mange.

Just to note this game won't begin until Ny's game is complete. So please send him votes for Standings and again during the playoffs.

The league has decided to expand the draft to 8 rounds. 4 for regular players and 4 for prospects. The Dispersal Draft will start on Sunday at 6pm EST. The Clock will stop at midnight and will now begin again until 5:00pm EST on Monday (If it gets to that point).

Starting Saturday at 2pm EST all teams will have a chance to buyout their players. Those bought out players will become UFAs and can be signed by any team except the team who bought the player out

Can we send a list in if we can't make for the entire draft?

Could we get a more concrete definition of what constitutes a prospect than "as on HF"? HF hasn't always been particularly clear about how they consider who's a prospect and who isn't.

I have decided to change the meaning of prospect to any player who has played less then 150 games in the NHL.

NHL players are classified as players who have played in over 150 games. Any player who has played less will classify as a prospect. For goalies it is 50 games or more to qualify as an NHL..

Sounds good, thanks. Makes the prospect draft a lot more meaningful, considering the caliber of players now.

Also basically means anyone drafted from 2012 and on is in the prospects draft (since it's impossible for them to have more than 150 NHL games played).

No problem. Also to clarify since I remember someone asking about this last game is that it is 150 games (regular+ playoff games) same for goalies.

Meant to post this yesterday but got distracted by some friends and a concert. Go ahead and start your game whenever you want to Dong.

Need a co gm basically. Need someone who's going to be around for the draft. I would still like to play but I just don't have the time to be around that much so a partner is what I need basically.

With the league now full and buyouts coming to a close I have decided to push the end time for buyouts to 5pm EST. Starting at 5pm EST teams can start making their picks in the Dispersal Draft the clock will not start until 6pm EST however.

We plan on competing this year!
All prospects are available, looking to bolster my roster with top 6 forwards and shore up the defense.
Ryan Johansen may be available!
