Born October 20, 2000. Daniil Misyul is a 6'3 offensive-minded D that plays for Loko Yaroslavl (MHL) and played for the Russian NT at last year's u18 WC and u19 WJAC. He seems reasonably solid defensively for his age, although he is frequently paired with the stablizing play of Anton Malyshev for both Loko and the Russian NT.

Based on the early games, it looks like he's gotten more leeway to jump into the rush this year and has had a solid start in the MHL with 6 points in 12 games. I think he's a potential 3rd/4th rounder for 2019.

Here's his MHL goal earlier this season vs Dynamo St. Petersburg (#93 in white):

And his PPG from the u18 WCs vs. Slovakia (#75 in red):

I didn’t like him at wjc-u18 last spring. He was constantly slowing down attacks and wasn’t really solid in defence.
