They're actually grooming him to be a more defensive D - he's not getting any offensive opportunity and we've heard some good things about his progress defensively. I'm not optimistic but that is the category that the club has him in.

Cleveland is the youngest team in the league and doing fairly well. There are oppurtunities there for the kids to take. Its actually nice for a change they have actual prospects there.

Fair point. Just took a quick look at the leading scorers. Seems like Svozil is off to a nice start.

These are the exceptions that prove that drafting past the 15th spot in the 21 draft was really tricky but sure 3.5 years after the draft hindsight is 20-20.

I’m basically saying good players can be found a bit later and it’s scouts’ jobs to choose correctly

Wouldnt it be nice if scouts could predict physical and mental growth of kids at a 100% rate
