Amongst the top 1000 hockey players on the entire planet of earth, he is somewhere around the bottom 3/4 right now. He can probably improve to the point where he is comfortably within the top 500 in any given year, though.

Lazar is worth a 3rd imo. That's a respectful trade, he's shown his ceiling early. That's all. He's a 4th liner.

Some guys peak early. It happens. He can still have a very good NHL career.

The draft is weak enough that a 50-60 (2nd) pick wouldn't be off base for someone who sees the right potential.
