A 1st or 2nd for a guy who's barely an NHL player and has to pass through waivers?

I'd take a flyer on him as a Canuck fan. I wouldn't give a ton though, I'd be aiming for a 3rd and 4th kinda deal

Price is high for him? Are you freaking kidding me? Senators would be lucky if anyone wanted him for a 2nd rounder and call it a win with a 3rd rounder.

Ottawa might get another struggling forward of defenseman for him. Not a chance in hell he gets you a 2nd. Dude's been all kinds of awful.

Is he DEFINITELY waiver eligible at this point? I've seen people casually say this, but is anyone here 100 percent sure without a doubt? He would be more appealing to teams if he didn't hit his waiver eligibility until October.
