I liked the Montreal goal a bit better cause he pretty much dangled Price in midair.. This was nasty too but GOTY? Nah.

I know that Montreal goal he scored was a beauty, but the importance of this game and the situation (OT) and the opponent.... this was better.

No issue with this being Goty. Way better than Price one. Kinkaid can't track the puck like Sid. Wow

Pretty sure Sid purposely shot the puck off the post to set himself up for the mid-air one timer.

But it wasn’t a 360 no-look, so not really GOTY material.

What made this really impressive to me was how he had to reposition himself so quickly to even be in a spot where he could bat the puck in. He was still pretty handcuffed there and still managed to connect while mostly keeping his balance.

That was just fantastic!
That's a superstar goal - the kinda goal you dream about as a kid.
I liked it even more because he was so thrilled.
I think that Crosby kid is going to be pretty good one day.

It's great hand eye coordination but that's a large portion luck for him and bad luck for the goalie not seeing it until to late. Great goal but not GOTY.

Surprised Crosby was able to pull that off after he acted like Zajac murderd him a few minutes before. :sarcasm:

Yes... yes there is... the puck isn't flat when he hits it so the trajectory is luck. The hitting of the puck is 100% skill.

... Okay. That’s not exactly how it works. And considering that the net was fairly open, the exact placement is irrelevant.
