The Washington Capitals had the highest-selling adidas NHL Reverse Retro jerseys in the first week of release. The retro jerseys, created by the NHL and adidas, incorporated old designs with revamped colors. On NHLShop.com and NHLShop.ca, best-sellers were: 1. Capitals, 2. Rangers, 3. Ducks, 4. Avalanche and 5. Coyotes. On the Fanatics Network, they were: 1. Capitals, 2. Rangers, 3. Coyotes, 4. Ducks and 5. Penguins. The NHL said the Dec. 1 release was the second-biggest sales day for NHLShop.

A little bit of clarification. The ranking of the Yotes in 5th above are for NHL.com and NHL.ca I believe. According to this is looks like the Yotes are currently the 3rd highest selling on Fanatics.com

I would guess that most any Kachina related merch would sell like hotcakes tbh. It's really popular right now, when they first re-introduced the throwback black it would run out of stock all the time.

That's probably what's happening, if I had to guess; the culmination of the 25th being the team rebranding to the Kachina. I don't recall the last time they've used the howling logo in media graphics since the playoffs last season; it's pretty much all been Kachina.

All of them were planned for one year minimum. It’s a promotional jersey. Teams can use them beyond this season as a third jersey. This is what I heard shortly before the RR jerseys were unveiled.

Coyotes brass are highly encouraged by sales of the jersey, and it’s likely going to stay beyond this season.

Of course, as the league looks to recoup as much revenue as possible, all of this can mean jack and they end up rolling out 20 uniforms next year with ads on all of them. Haha
