Crawfords underlying numbers were excellent after January 1. He had clearly outplayed Lehner, which is why Lehner was moved.

I don't know maybe the fact crawford can still play at a high level has won 2 Stanley cups and would definitely make Colorado a serious contender. Proven playoff experience of winning not many goalies including who's in net now for Colorado can show.

A proven winner which neither of those 2 goalies have proven. Regular season wins are great but the difference between those 2 goalies and Crawford is he has won 2 Stanley cups that takes his stock to a higher level.
