The best SW comics by far are the Dark Horse comics The Old Republic trades.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys! I didn’t know if any of the new stuff post-Disney acquisition would’ve been worth reading, but it looks like there’s some decent stuff from the past 5 years.

X-Men right now just seems to be going out of its way to justify humans fearing mutants.

I really hope they condense the amount of X-Men books after these current runs are done. I really enjoyed the HoX/PoX stuff and some of the current runs, but there is way too much going on right now, IMO. I am just keeping up with a couple of the spin-off series. I don't mind if the content is out there, but let them be their own thing and not connect too much.

Started reading Kieron Gillen’s original Darth Vader series run via the trades, and I already like where this is heading.

Marvel Entertainment twitter has been teasing some Spider-Man comic book news the last few days, and they officially announced it today.

JJ Abrams and his son are going to be writing a Spider-Man comic.

It will go on sale in September.

I actually really enjoyed the first book in this series, but the last two have continued to get worse. It’s just not good at all. Ugh. And I actually like the idea too.

Reallllly liking two comics right now:

1.) Far Sector

2.) Donny Cates’ new run in Thor. Just read the second of the series tonight and I’m totally on board. Cates remains one of my favorites.
