I would have thought Ellis would step in. Hopefully it is not serious for DGs sake. Or maybe KA realizes the assistants are incompetent clowns and couldn’t risk the embarrassment of them piloting a trainwreck. The part that doesn’t fit is that many of these players have no relationship with Appert. Most skipped Rochester or were there before he got there. And doesn’t this leave the Amerks shorthanded? As the Sabres world turns I guess.

This is the man want to see behind the bench moving forward. They may not like him, but he'd end that comfortable country club atmosphere we seem to have here.

Colby Armstrong and Matt Murley said the same thing.

They also said Michele Therrien would serve the same purpose; instill a real actual defensive system. He doesn't tend to last a long time, but hell, even a half season or so seems pretty appealing at this point if Berube is not interested.

Oh no. That tweet from Lance was when Adams had to fill in the because the whole staff had covid the year he got hired.

Appert is still coaching tonight. Just funny how Adams has more head coaching experience then all the current assistance
