I heard him in an interview, he said that Caufield is the most look a like copy of Brett Hull he has ever seen. Brett was a late bloomer, was small and his release is exactly like Cole, their play-style are so similar it's crazy.

not at the start, he learned it through the years, he wasn't that good with slap-shots at the start.
Cole loves one timer slap-shot too and is one of his strength.
