Kadri was not underutilized in Toronto.
he’s better utilized with the Avs for sure.

Sometimes you just have to too many players who do the same things and if one player is even just slightly worse than another player at that aspect, he's the one who gets not only demoted but traded off the team.
I'm pretty happy Sakic got three underutilized players (Kadri, Burakovsky, Donskoi) that has been a big help through this injury stretch.
Here’s what’s sad and possibly notable about that. The only one of those players who should historically be counted on to come up big in big moments in the POs is Burakovsky so I’d say you’re in a heap of trouble.Sometimes you just have to too many players who do the same things and if one player is even just slightly worse than another player at that aspect, he's the one who gets not only demoted but traded off the team.

As a 3c I’d say he was. He’s a 2nd line C.Kadri was not underutilized in Toronto.
We have a few big game players haha I don’t see a “heap” of trouble on the horizon. Here’s what’s sad and possibly notable about that. The only one of those players who should historically be counted on to come up big in big moments in the POs is Burakovsky so I’d say you’re in a heap of trouble.

Have those heap of big game players won anything in their careers? We have a few big game players haha I don’t see a “heap” of trouble on the horizon.
How much didn’t that goal ultimately help the Sharks when it was ALL on the line?..i seem to think the Avs and fans remember donskoi ending up with a kinda important goal last year..
Yeah there are no other forwards on the Avalanche who've ever done anything in the playoffs. Behave. Here’s what’s sad and possibly notable about that. I wouldn’t call any of the AVs big game risers. Tom Wilson has a better demonstrated ability to raise his game when it counts i.e. than any of those AVs players. Kadri and Donskoi? Please.
Quality post. Ironclad logic.Brett Connolly has more Cups than Mackinnon, Rantanen, and Makar combined. Call us all when you make it out of the Conference Rounds.
PeatNeutral fan here
Dumb take
You probably weren’t making this argument against Ovy when he was the biggest choking dog going for a decade and a half!
Chances are those guys accomplish something earlier in their personal timeline than he ever did
PS- Stock > Peat
MacKinnon is a good player. Until he gets over the jump, he’ll remain just that a “good player.”Forget about one of the best big game players in the game in MacKinnon?
One FIRST OVERALL and now the Avalanche aren’t the Oilers (?)One Cup and now you think you’re the greatest thing since sliced bread lol
That’s why I’m here.Quality post. Ironclad logic.
I did miss that, but I assure you that you were the only one gullible enough to believe they were being serious. Also did you miss the guy calling Burakovsky an Art Ross hopeful?
