Yes. You have the cap room to buy the lottery ticket. He's a good NHL wing that has become a scapegoat among fans. We belly ache because we're strapped and his QO is too much for his production stagnation.

I like him. Hes inconsistent as all hell but he has a ton of talent and is a good skater.

Absolutely. I think COL May be the one team in the League most suited to extract value from Burakovsky. He’ll thrive on a young, speed team that wins by volume of shots (see CAL series in the POs) rather than playing with great structure. If Burakovsky can “open it up” he may be a very good player for you, if the speculation is true.

I’d guess a 2nd, would take a 3rd, and don’t really care as long as the Caps never face an AVs team with Burakovsky in the POs.

I get that, but I was thinking they may have been scared off by Burakovsky potentially signing his QO and and maybe having problems moving him after. I guess they thought that risk was relatively low and it was smart of them.
