They have to do the arbitration thing first cuz he was qualified and applied for itLeafs should jettison his ass to rfa or ufa or whatever he would be.
If Ceci goes tge arbitratiin route, he's a moron. The only way to guarantee a good payday from TO us to accept the QO. Risky to give the Leafs a chance to walk away. They have to do the arbitration thing first cuz he was qualified and applied for it
I don't think they have the option after not signing it right away . I think anyways I'll google itIf Ceci goes tge arbitratiin route, he's a moron. The only way to guarantee a good payday from TO us to accept the QO. Risky to give the Leafs a chance to walk away.
Pretty sure if he accepted his 4.3 QO, then the Leafs are stuck with that.I don't think they have the option after not signing it right away . I think anyways I'll google it
Yes I know but I assume he rejected it already IDK if he can walk that backPretty sure if he accepted his 4.3 QO, then the Leafs are stuck with that.
Huh...i hadn't heard he rejected it...pretty sure that would signal arbitration.Yes I know but I assume he rejected it already IDK if he can walk that back
They are close, but im not gonna open this can of worms.Aho isn't even close to being as good as Matthews
If Ceci goes tge arbitratiin route, he's a moron.
I just mean, with the Leafs cap situation, trying for more than the 4.3 million QO is a risk, the Leafs nay walk away from the arbitrators award.quoted for irony.
I like Ceci. I think he will thrive in Toronto.
I was just looking to see if there was a time limit for an rfa accepting or rejecting the qualifying offer but the only thing I can find says August so yeah he should just sign itHuh...i hadn't heard he rejected it...pretty sure that would signal arbitration.

The Leafs could not risk letting Matthews receive an offer sheet. They needed to sign him, no matter the cost.Bet he feels like a fool for signing Matthews before aho set the market
Or he could resign for less. It doesn't have to be the end of the world. What confuses me is why didn't he just sign the qualifying offer. He got super lucky with the arbitrator last time valuing ice time so highly , this could ruin him if it allows the leafs to dump him.
