Gary Roberts should be hired by our Leafs in player development right now!

He runs his own business training players from all over the league and elsewhere. They probably couldn't pay him enough to shut it all down and work exclusively for them.

In 2020 a rookie Wendel Clark would hit someone too hard and get suspended for half a season. Then on his return he'd beat someone up for taking liberties with one of his teammates and be shunned permanently by the modern fan hive mind who pretend to admire the player because that's what they think they're supposed to do.

Not enough Sundin love. Get him away from the clutch n' grab era and give him some of the forward talent we have now instead of the Modins and Hoglunds of the world, and he might win the Art Ross. He or Matthews could move to the wing.

Salming or Brian Leetch.

Or you could just hit the Fun Button and pick Mats Sundin. Matthews - Sundin - Tavares down the middle -- just put your hands up and say wheeeeee all the way down
Sundin never had a regular winger like Marner or Nylander. Sure Quinn would tease Mogilny on his wing every once in a while but that never stuck.

Sundin and Matthews together on a line wouldn't be fair

The year Mogilny had 89 points im fairly certain he played with Mats. I recall the Roberts-Sundin-Mogilny unit being superb.

Go heavy on your strength, you can't stop 3 lines.

Hyman Tavares Marner
Mikheyev Matthews Nylander
Johnsson Sundin/Gilmour Kapanen
