The winning recipe at this point in the game is:

1. Bench Karlsson.

2. Put in Lehner.

3. Send down Grant.

Amirite?

About? Do you think Anderson is getting played because he's outperformed Lehner?
He isn't the Senators #1 goaltender because of his play. He's carrying a large salary and like it or not, that influences things.
He's allowed the first goal against Boston, Philly, Columbus...and he's let in soft goals too.

And do you think Lehner is just going to sit around as a backup for the next 3-5 years and be happy about it? Eventually he will want the starting role, not sure he'll want to wait until he's 29-30.

Seeing as how Anderson's contract is up after next year, I'm not really sure where your guess of "3-5 years" comes from.

Its been 19 games not 3 to 5 years.

Anderson is a leader, that's why he plays. This team is very immature, they need some kindof leadership group and structure.

I cant wrap my head around why everyone thinks this teams issue is the goalie. They lead the league in turnovers and shots against haha that's not the goalie. Anderson is great, they just happen to have a great backup too. This teams D core is the issue, they turn the puck over more then any group in the league.

They cant diminish Andersons value and hand another young player such an important position. They are here to push each other.

Greening hit Johansen from behind, his hands come up to brace himself.
