Brown centered the fourth line between Matthew Gaudreau and Brendan Silk in BC's 5-2 exhibition loss to UNB .. finished even with 1 SOG.

In BC's 5-1 win over Army, Brown finished +1 with 1 G, 2 SOG, and 3/6 at the FO dot .. he continued to center Gaudreau and Silk on the fourth line.

The rookies' coming out party continued in the third at 3:26 period when Chris Brown took advantage of a clearing pass from Tuch. Tuch rimmed it to Army's end and the puck took a funny hop right to the stick of Brown in the slot. Brown buried the opportunity as Casey Fitzgerald triggered the play with the initial clear from behind BC's end

With two assists yesterday, Brown upped his season totals to: 7GP, 1G, 3A, +3, 6 SOG.

Travis Jeke lit the lamp at 6:45 thanks to great forechecking from Christopher Brown. Brown wrangled the puck from behind the net out to JD Dudek on the left flank. With a large amount of space between Jeke and his nearest pursuer, Dudek deferred to Jeke on the right dot for the layup and a 2-0 advantage.

With the game in hand, Doherty netted his second power play goal of the game at 13:01 following a Dennis Kravchenko slashing penalty at 12:14. Brown relayed the puck across the sheet to Gaudreau on the far side where the winger left a touch pass for Doherty on left dot. Doherty stepped into it and smoked it over the goal line to cap the Eagles' seven-goal explosion.

With Wood out, lineup was shuffled and Brown saw RW3 duty vs UNH. He added an assist (more of a dump-in), his seventh, in their 4-3 win. White injured his wrist in the third, so Brown could stay in this role for the Beanpot final on Monday (NESN, TSN1) depending on BC's health.

Chris Brown/Boston College defeated Boston University 1-0 last Monday to win the Beanpot for the sixth time in the last sevens years.
The game winning goal was scored by Alex Tuch - 1:57 into the first overtime period.
Chris Brown had no shots on goal - was 0-2 on face-offs and had a two minute high-sticking penalty - 17:11 - first period.
The penalty resulted in a Boston University power-play that only lasted 1:22 as Charlie McAvory - Boston University - received a 2 minute holding penalty at 18:33.

Brown wrapped up regular season play with: 34 GP, 2 G, 8 A, 8 PIM, 29 SOG, +5. BC's the first-seed in the HEA tournament, has a bye, and awaits the winner of next weekend's best-of-three between UConn and UVM. BC's a lock for the NCAA tournament as a 1 or 2 seed.
