Really? I've always heard his offense needs work but his defensive skills are great. It sounds like he's doing well offensively, but he's at that stage in juniors where he should be. I'd like to see what he does in Albany.

The NCAA refs are pretty strict in terms of hits. Jacob Trouba had 88 PIMs in 37 games last year for Michigan and I distinctly remember a chunk of those were on hits that would have been legal in the NHL.

I dont see Black ever cracking top-6. top-9 is generous

I wouldn't say top 9 is "generous" for Black. He's a good two-way player whose primary knocks at draft time were consistency, size, and his Graves' disease. He's had to overcome a lot of tough obstacles, and there's no reason not to be a little excited for him right now if he's lighting it up beyond expectations.

And things like "a perfect 4th line center" were exactly what we were saying about Henrique.

Black will be a bottom 6 guy if he makes the NHL. Haven't seen much of him this year during his overage year but putting up points is never a bad thing.

Do like Kujawinski though. Good player with good tools, just has to work on consistency but all kids have to. And his team blows
