Looks like Kujawinski's hit an early wall after a very strong start.

I hope Santini shows some offense all throughout the season. Good to see him contributing so far.

Boston College beat Minnesota 4-3 in a shootout. Santini was a +2. Made smart decisions with the puck and some strong tape to tape passes. Showed some good ability to rush the puck up the ice, but his skating needs a little improvement. Definitely a solid game from him.

Other prospects around the league:

Bad:
McCoshen (Panthers) and Matheson (Panthers) appeared to be the top pairing for Boston College based on playing time, but they looked bad. Seemed like they were getting pinned in their zone and giving up chances every shift. Not surprising that they both finished -2. Santini was definitely superior to those two.

Gaudreau (Flames) has a lot of speed and finesse, scored a goal. But he seemed one-dimensional and was also -2. Certainly didn't dominate offensively like I expected. Kind of reminded me of Tedenby's game.

Good:
Kyle Rau (Panthers) was probably the best offensive player on the ice. Only 5'9" but it wouldn't surprise me to see him in a scoring role in the NHL.

Brady Skjei (Rangers) was solid, nothing oustanding about his game though. Just seems reliable. Finished even with an assist.

Taylor Cammarata (Islanders) is only a freshman and actually looked better than Gaudreau. Similar player in a similar mold to Gaudreau but had more of an impact. Definitely someone to watch for in the future, but another guy who's main issue is his size. Scored a goal and was even.

Recorded the game, but only really watched the 1st/OT closely. Santini was on the PK which yielded a goal. His D partner was out of position and Santini had to shift over to cover the left side of the ice. Santini tried to take away the backdoor pass, but the Minnesota played squeezed it through and the other BC players were slow to cover.

Santini's physicality was evident. I'll have to doublecheck, but I think there was a shift where he sandwiched the linesman in order to get a hit on a Minnesota player entering the zone. Another shift he got a nice check on 6'2 Seth Ambroz behind the net, and then proceeded to bury another Gopher in the corner.

I was a little surprised but Santini joined the rush a few times. He was more or less trying to open up space for teammates, but it was nice to see that he didn't hesitate.
