Hans' behaviour reminds me of Lance Armstrong. He is so arrogant, I truly have NO idea what to make of him. Is he being arrogant because he's innocent (would you be arrogant, humble or dismissive if you were innocent?) or is he acting like Lance Armstrong did when he knew he was cheating and felt no one could touch him or prove it?
@ORRFForever The problem with guys like Armstrong and Barry Bonds is that it's well known if you spend enough and go to Europe you can pass any drug test. Barry Bonds only averaged 25 homers his first 7 seasons. Many posters on the main board are so uneducated they think speed is a PED and try to diminish pre-Canseco players such as Hank Aaron. As Bob Costas and I say that just proves how dumb they are. I was the first person in the baseball forum to challenge this stupidity.

Fair enough but, if YOU were Hans and YOU were guilty, how would you act?

At my age, as an older gentlemen, if I was guilty, I do everything I could to fly under the radar. I'd be humble and quiet as a Church mouse.

But, if I was young, I'd probably act like he's acting now - arrogant and belligerent.

So, in other words, his attitude does NOT help his case but... as always, I don't believe in the "dildo" theory, so, how the heck is he doing it? As someone who has played competitive chess, I have NO idea how he is pulling this off. The other GM's (I am NOT a GM - not trying to loop myself in with them) can't figure it out either so...

Maybe he's innocent. I just do NOT know.:scared:

"GM Hans Niemann sacrificed a knight and two rooks to beat IM Shreyas Royal in round four of the 2023 London Chess Classic before commenting, "the sound of chess speaking overpowers jealousy." @ORRFForever
Seriously? Wow... If he is ever caught doing ANYTHING wrong, he will get crucified.

Wow. Just Wow...

NOTHING MAKES SENSE !!!! Kramnik makes a convincing case. But, again, if Hans needs to cheat on line, how is he doing it live??

I don't understand.

@ORRFForever Great article. This sounds fishy to me. FIDE is trying to screw an under rated American.

4. ... Ba6 was a strange choice by Carlsen. White can just develop a pawn or knight or play Qc2 and easily protect the threatened pawn.
I'm more concerned about the cheating allegations. They are getting more and more common. It will never end unless they lock there guys in a bubble. Such a shame.

@ORRFForever Anand has some advice for you in the article.
What he said is nice. Smart and concise. :)
