Hornets get 2nd overall pick, moved up from 4 in the lottery. So damn close to 1 and generational prospect Wembanyana but this is still a big win. Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller are both incredible prospects and a tier above the next best player so to be able to pick from those 2 is big. Screw the Spurs and their blatant tanking lately.

Nobody's happier about this than Wembanyana, who is now free to be a good player.

This game got boring quickly. No history tonight.

Nuggets should absolutely cruise to their first championship. Key word being should.

f*** Boston glad to see them lose and former Hornet Caleb Martin ball out. Also I’d much rather we lose the way we did to Florida than the way they did. Being swept sucks but at least it’s just over with, imagine all the hope of being down 3-0, winning 3 straight and going home to try to finish it off and just getting blown the f*** out. That would kill me.

Charlotte might just be the worst run franchise in sports. And I'm including the A's and Browns in this. Its like they go out of their way to remain irrelevant. This guy almost single handedly sinks Boston in Game 7, and the Hornets cut him last season.

More Michael Jordan Ls. But please ESPN, FS1, Charlotte Observer etc. Please keep harping him up as the GOAT while ignoring his off-court failures.

I mean, context is very important. Cody and Caleb Martin were a cool story here but they were redundant and we chose Cody over Caleb at that time -- which made sense as Cody was much better than Caleb 2 years ago. And it's been a hell of a run from Caleb in that series but still a tiny sample size. Miami has an elite all time HC and President, incredible team building, culture, development, etc. Not surprising they're getting a lot out of Caleb. And while I agree the Hornets are one of the worst run franchises in all of sports, I just don't think this is a great example of it as it really wasn't a bad move.

lmao doing all that work getting back into the series just to throw up all over your shoes in Game 7 on your home floor. Couldn't happen to a better city. Ever since the Pats let Brady go, Boston sports have been f***ing hilarious. Just heartbreak after heartbreak and it's f***ing amazing.

2020: Watch Brady and Gronk win another ring while Pats fans watch the corpse of Cam attempt to throw the ball. Tuukka Rask goes AWOL, Celtics lose in the ECF.

2021: Sox go up 2-1 in the ALCS, then proceed to get ass blasted in three straight against Houston. Buffalo lets out 20+ years of frustration on the Pats in the playoffs. C's and B's go out with a whimper.

2022: Pats lose to Brady on a doinked FG, Bruins lose a Game 7, Celtics lose three in a row, including two games at home after going up 2-1 in the Finals, Sox blow.

2023: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

the cheating patriots/red sox have been steady good the last few decades but the bruins/celtics have been a joke all along, not just the last few years. For each of those teams to only have 1 championship in the last several decades with how big their market is, how much they spend and how much talent those teams have had over the years really is a total failure.

Ok. I will start out by saying I’m only a very casual basketball fan. I’m from Canada, so hockey is #1 around here.

Basketball is pretty fun to watch sometimes, but the amount of timeouts allowed is fn crazy. Totally ruins the flow of the game. Just let the players figure it out on their own.

Miller is a way better 3 point shooter, and Charlotte already has a PG in Melo. Why wouldn't they pick Miller?

I honestly don't know. Everyone who is a fan seems to be like @Canes and wants Scoot.

I truly know nothing about Miller's game. Ditto Scoot, but I found it interesting when everyone wants Scoot

Miller has a typical 3 type game but can bring the ball up the court. The off the court stuff should be the only reason folks don’t want him

Well, they'll f*** it up either way, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
