Put it this way, each team that did well, then struggled and let the other team take a game, then another game, the fans were lambasting that team's defense.

No less, we're all Stars fans, and round 2 will be a war no matter the opponent. Whichever team Dallas plays, the fans of that team will be worried about Dallas as well. There was/is a reason they were #1 in the west all season long. Go Dallas!

Addendum: Yes, Dallas' Defense and goaltending needs to improve. No team is perfect, but I will not already decide Dallas has no chance to win the 2nd series. Come on, the Stars are great this year!

It's worth pointing out that our series's big score swings are no different than those in LA/SJ and St Louis/Chicago series. The expectation that the playoffs means a lot of 2-1 games like game 2 doesn't really bear out in practice.

It's worth pointing out that our series's big score swings are no different than those in LA/SJ and St Louis/Chicago series. The expectation that the playoffs means a lot of 2-1 games like game 2 doesn't really bear out in practice.

Well the first round seems to always be chaotic which makes the games more entertaining. That said, not counting today, we've had 23 games that was of the 3-2 or 2-1 variety and 15 games that was 2-1, 1-0 so yeah defense is still being played in the playoffs.
