Doesn't seem to be too bad of deal..looks like they're going for about fifty bucksThe rumored return is an autographed picture of Wayne Newton.
Gaborik. Beauchemin. McElhinney. Garon. Gregory Campbell. Those are the ones I know that you didn't mentionQuick, Federov and Foote.. & Jeff f***ing Carter are a few of our past SC winners (ONLY ONES I CAN THINK OF)
Yeah but some of those hasn’t won a Cup until after they left here so they weren’t “our pst SC winners”.Quick, Federov and Foote.. & Jeff f***ing Carter are a few of our past SC winners (ONLY ONES I CAN THINK OF)
Of course you are right about that.. you could say some won despite the voodoo hex and stink eye we gave emYeah but some of those hasn’t won a Cup until after they left here so they weren’t “our pst SC winners”.

Um, hello people… the GOAT David Savard!Gaborik. Beauchemin. McElhinney. Garon. Gregory Campbell. Those are the ones I know that you didn't mention
Don't forget that Peeke's salary cup will be $2,750,000 instead of the current $787,500. Which is +$512,500,000.assuming the following all happen:
- tarasov in the NHL
- texier back ($1.525m contract would slide)
- chinakhov at $1m aav 1-2 yr deal (10.2c RFA so no offer sheet or arb)
- jiricek making the roster
- olivier getting a raise to 900k on a one-way
- foudy getting the last spot over bemstrom
you'd be looking at just under $15m of cap space with a full roster. moving roslovic + peeke + bean would free up another $9m.
Trade probably wasn't made official until after his appearanceQuick was very complimentary to jarmo and the CBJ during his chat today on espn2 deadline show
This has surfaced online now:Quick was very complimentary to jarmo and the CBJ during his chat today on espn2 deadline show
So Quick may be getting a bit more workload than we all anticipated...Brathwaite played parts of nine seasons in the NHL, recording an 81-99-37 record with 15 shutouts and a .901 save percentage with Calgary, St. Louis and Columbus. He was Calgary’s starter for two seasons in 1990-00 and 2000-01, his most successful years in the NHL.
...
While Brathwaite’s inclusion was fun for nostalgic hockey fans, it’s likely not good news for the Golden Knights. The club is already without starter Logan Thompson (lower body) and third-stringer Laurent Brossoit (lower body). Patera’s call-up could mean bad news for Adin Hill, who is also dealing with a lower-body injury.
The Golden Knights recently traded Michael Hutchinson in the deal that brought over Jonathan Quick to Vegas, who will now act as the team’s starter.
Dude would have tanked our tank.
Not with his contract expiring at the end of the year.He would have had zero motivation if he was forced to play in Columbus.
Not with his contract expiring at the end of the year.
If you are under contract with us, then that is when you have to get creative to force your way out.
He would have played out of his mind and posted a shut-out every night to spite us.You know the chances of him playing for Columbus and playing well would have been minimal
