assuming the following all happen:
- tarasov in the NHL
- texier back ($1.525m contract would slide)
- chinakhov at $1m aav 1-2 yr deal (10.2c RFA so no offer sheet or arb)
- jiricek making the roster
- olivier getting a raise to 900k on a one-way
- foudy getting the last spot over bemstrom

you'd be looking at just under $15m of cap space with a full roster. moving roslovic + peeke + bean would free up another $9m.
Don't forget that Peeke's salary cup will be $2,750,000 instead of the current $787,500. Which is +$512,500,000.

Have to post this, maybe this thread is better than the tidbits...

DFO: Fred Brathwaite emergency goalie (not NHL obvs), Vegas issues

Brathwaite played parts of nine seasons in the NHL, recording an 81-99-37 record with 15 shutouts and a .901 save percentage with Calgary, St. Louis and Columbus. He was Calgary’s starter for two seasons in 1990-00 and 2000-01, his most successful years in the NHL.
...
While Brathwaite’s inclusion was fun for nostalgic hockey fans, it’s likely not good news for the Golden Knights. The club is already without starter Logan Thompson (lower body) and third-stringer Laurent Brossoit (lower body). Patera’s call-up could mean bad news for Adin Hill, who is also dealing with a lower-body injury.

The Golden Knights recently traded Michael Hutchinson in the deal that brought over Jonathan Quick to Vegas, who will now act as the team’s starter.
So Quick may be getting a bit more workload than we all anticipated...
