He played well for a while but his game really fell off towards the end.

Other than that is there anything else you can tell avs fans about the guy?

Good skill, smart decision maker, undersized and overmatched at times in his own end. Better at defending in space than working on the wall.

I think he's a legit 5/6 in the NHL.

He's 27 years old and played 21 NHL games

size and strength 2 negatives

Saw him play every game lost a few battles with guys like Malkin/Thorton
As do a lot of D regardless of size ,but he competed hard every night
Smart with the puck and great first pass.

Not a top 4 pairing but definitely can play in the NHL.

Would have been nice for him to help out the Monsters. But, it's a better deal for him to get more time on an NHL roster, so best wishes to him.

Don't know if this will entice Hejda to stay in Lake Erie longer.

I agree with this. He'll need more time to really prove that he's an NHLer, but has more than earned continued time for now. I think what he brought to the Jackets in passing/smarts/puckmoving was really valuable.

I wish Falk was sent through waivers instead.

Nice speed, decent passing out of the zone, overmatched at times by bigger forwards. Nice asset. Poor roster management...

I think he's a legit 7/8 defender in the NHL. Too small, not strong enough along the boards to be a top six. I'd rather keep Falk.
