But seriously, Mrazek was 1-0-1 vs Tampa this year with 65 saves on 68 shots with 1 shutout. So he was fairly decent against them albeit in an extremely limited sample sized.

He couldn't be any less dangerous than Trocheck.

I do not understand the allure of Martinook at center, especially 3C. He's more physical on the wing. He's a better offensive threat on the wing. Maybe you can argue he's better defensively than Paquette or Geekie, but I think Martinook is a better defensive wing than center as well.

Paquette is a nonfactor and doesn't really have the speed I think Rod wants from 3rd line center, and he's not going to ice two rookies at center so I kinda understand it. But not having a RH center option sucks, Trocheck has been great on faceoffs. Necas might have got a chance to move to center if he didn't turn it over in the D zone several times the last couple of games.
