This is going to be like the Washington Nationals wearing Expos jerseys yesterday.

Once a year, we'll remember how Aho was a Hab for 6 days.

God knows why he didn't go 10.5

I think he was also making sure he would leave himself room to sign everyone else who's contracts are coming up in the next few years.

And by being cautious for his own situation, he wasn't aggressive enough for this offer sheet.

Yeah he's only a 21 year old elite PPG two-way center, I've got like 6 in my backyard

He signed a contract for 8.5m, there's his value for you.

10.5 is a gross overpayment, I fail to see how this can be debated based on his agents ask, Carolina's initial offer and our offer.

Bergevin wanted to get his name associated with a rare CBA option before he gets fired.

Mission accomplished.

Shhh...logic and facts don't belong in a ZOMG LOLZ thread, it ruins the moment.

That's terrible planning. You don't worry about keeping your secondary pieces when you can improve your chance of getting a primary piece.

Gross overpayment is what's required if you wanna poach a RFA away

That's why it's only worked once in recent history with Dustin f***ing Penner
