Lol you’re speaking with a confidence you couldn’t possibly have as if you know what you’re taking about but I doubt it.

Bergy is not a particularly intelligent guy. Street smart possibly, and this would have worked back in the 90s when dinosaurs were running the league - but now, with cap management, contract analytics, perception, mis-direction, foresight etc.. All attributes Bergy sorely lacks.
The position of GM must be someone who has astute intelligence, especially with numbers - this helps is bargaining with another GM all in one sitting with an end goal, without having to call back after punching the calculator or getting further advice.
