It's like trying to jump onto one of those playground metal pipe carousels on full speed and it hits you to the leg right where it hurts, but if you're kind of stupid you try again and get hurt into the lump on your ankle, but if you can catch the pipe and have the arms to drag yourself onboard then it's really not that bad.
