Keep in mind before this recent 5 game slump, Svech was on an 11 game point streak. He didn't look dominant, but that's pretty impressive production still. I'm sure youth, role, luck, and recent poor team play while adjusting to new injuries and new players all play a part.

Yeah, I'm not concerned at all. As others have mentioned it's usual to see a bit of "sophomore slump" during stretches of a grueling season like this--especially for a guy who's literally LITERALLY a teenager.

As long as the canes don't decide to host another "whole team slumber party slump" anytime soon, I think we'll be good lol!

Not sure why. Mrazek hasn't really been good this season but Forsberg has put up a similar stat line but in the AHL. Forsberg is also barely above the Darling line in the NHL but admittedly in a small sample size. He's barely mediocre at best.
