Can't help but think all these trades and signings on the Canes blue line is hurting any potential Faulk trade value
Someone always needs goals from the blue-line and is willing to pay for it. We have time to wait for our right deal.

I’d be on board, but leafs fans aren’t gonna want to trade Kadri. No sense in breaking up the deepest center group in the league. As an outsider does Kadri for Faulk not make sense for both teams?
Nope. As an outsider Kadri has been the by far better player the last 2 years and is on a great contract. CAR would have to add.As an outsider does Kadri for Faulk not make sense for both teams?
That's a great group of D. No one even close to 30 either.

Can’t help but not understand that thinking. Can't help but think all these trades and signings on the Canes blue line is hurting any potential Faulk trade value
If that’s the case, Carolina will keep him and happily run with Hamilton-Pesce-Faulk-TVR as rhds.
Cool. He can do that in two seasons when he’s a UFA.Then Faulk will happily run against free agency.
Add SparksNo, we can do better. Kapanen doesn't give us anything we don't already have and the Leafs first will be late.
We'll just pick up Sparks when you guys put him on waivers.Add Sparks
Not really. It is difficult to get improved incremental value when the 8th highest scoring center in league for the last 2 years (and our only shut down center) is being paid $4.5MM for 4 more years. As an outsider does Kadri for Faulk not make sense for both teams?
That's not niceWe'll just pick up Sparks when you guys put him on waivers.
Lol ok. You don't understand how Carolina looks like they clearly have an overcrowded blue line and it isn't very on the nose to every other GM and think they can low ball Carolina. Can’t help but not understand that thinking.
The canes are hardly desperate to move Faulk, especially early for cheap. Many teams could use a young righty D who can score and has two years left on an affordable contract.
Why would it hurt? The moves make a guy available. It’s probably Faulk. Seems like it only helps.
Unless you start trading some goalies it looks like multiple ones will be on waivers before the season starts. That's not nice

Whether Carolina accepts or not is a different story. But it's like having three $6+ mil centers. Sure you can keep all them and don't NEED to move one, but it's not smart cap management to pay your 3C that much and who won't produce at the needed levels to warrant that pricetag with third line wingers
Again, if you're paying a guy almost $5 mil to play your third pair, something's wrong and your roster is incredibly imbalanced
