Hathaway out left them with just 43 and losing him leaves them nothing. You might think they would bring in a tough LD at the trade deadline but given the play of their regular 3rd pair, I dont know that he would get a jersey

We don't necessarily need a fight, but someone who can throw a game impacting body check that is legal. Ovechkin can do just that and I will wager some of the younger guys will eventually. However with Hathaway and Wilson out teams can take liberties.
