Bad angle To shoot from. I thought he would give the puck to DSP but Nicky can see what we can't. A difficult pass To make to Djoos.Very nice. I thought Backstrom should have shot but it worked out just fine.

Easier said than done. His caphit makes it hard to get rid of him.
I'm not high on Djoos. But I should reconsider this.
Bad pass but excellent back checkStephenson correct his own mistake
Schimdt is already the top ice time leader on a 1st place team...Djoos will have a better career than Schmidt, just watch.
He might. He is more skilled than Schmidt.Djoos will have a better career than Schmidt, just watch.
He's playing a little over his head there, currently. Is definitely better suited on a 2nd pairing, although his overall play has improved since they switched from Sbisa to McNabb as his partner. Either way, you're correct in insinuating he has a pretty significant head start when compared to Djoos.Schimdt is already the top ice time leader on a 1st place team...
Schmidt is playing well. That entire team is.Schimdt is already the top ice time leader on a 1st place team...
Djoos had 12 mins of TOI last game? I think it shows Orpik still has a big load, especially at PK.
Changing Orpik to similar type of player (we need veteran, defensive specialist) but cheaper and better... Kinda screams offseason.

Thats trueNobody knew where to be on that play. Sometimes when you shuffle your lines and pairings that's going to happen.
If they keep Carlson, I don't really see the need for an additional "veteran" D man as a specific need. If the core guys aren't ready to step up as the veteran leadership at this point, there's something rotten on the team. I don't disagree that they'll need a LHD who can PK and handle D zone starts, but the age shouldn't really matter. Carlson and Nisky should be able to handle the leadership duties for the blueline.
Did they have a video tribute for Johansson?
