i hate that shot by orlov. we have extended pressure and possession in their zone and orlov takes a shot from the point with no screen. idiotic

Pretty easily the least intimidating Rangers team I can remember. If they don't create offense on the break they can't sustain any play in the offensive zone. Their defense is too slow to keep up in the defensive zone causing them to get hemmed in for periods of play at a time. There's no elite gamebreaker at forward. Board play is below average. The King looks good, though, and McD is a beast.

The top six can **** off. Back-to-back weak efforts living on the perimeter.

2 games back from the break... 3 total goals... 2 Ls (1 in SO :innocent: ).

I just hope this isn't a trend like last season after the snow storm delays.

Let's call it what it is. This iteration of OV, at least 5 on 5, is a bad player, a liability frankly. The less he touches the puck the better.

Not too bad.

Lack of sharpness, good goalies, afternoon games... Caps started to look like themselves in the last two periods.

Just need to build the game back up.

I thought Eller, Orlov, and Kuznetsov looked good.

Ovechkin scored a goal but still just coasts his way through 90% of the game. Never engages in a puck battle, and floats. He has to clean up his game.
