He could have EASILY put the puck up the boards but he decided to hold on for too long. Everyone was where they are suppose to be on the breakout, he just screwed up .This is messed up. It's OK to rag on Bowey but what is he supposed to do there? His D partner is 75 feet away up the ice and he is getting forechecked. He literally has no play.
Turns out that forcing your opponents to commit D zone turnovers works pretty well.
They still need a legit goaltender to be a top teamOvie!!!! Man, if not brain farts like that, Carolina would be a top team.
That was my pointThat's essentially what they do to us. A taste of their own medicine.
We have our share of brain farts and are still a top team.Ovie!!!! Man, if not brain farts like that, Carolina would be a top team.
I have been arguing about this for awhile. Been saying when his partner has the puck in the right corner Orpik is always standing near the left face off circle. Boweys options were to nforceca stupid pass or eat it. That is unacceptable. Orpik is a veteran. He should know better. Come Orpik, your partner is a rookie, help him out. This is messed up. It's OK to rag on Bowey but what is he supposed to do there? His D partner is 75 feet away up the ice and he is getting forechecked. He literally has no play.
Considering we have given up 4 goals. Holtby has actually played wellA penalty at the worst possible time, we need Holtby to get us through that one.
That puzzles me actually, why? We are not supposed to. I guess, we are fortunate to have good goalies. We have our share of brain farts and are still a top team.
