Who would have predicted that Travis was a better shooter than Palms this season
Hockey playoffs are tough even for the best of teams.I don't see anyone beating Colorado.
20%. Not too shabby.Who would have predicted that Travis was a better shooter than Palms this season

Literally what are you talking aboutGusev-esque. Nobody's better scoring consolation goals when the team is down by three in the third.
Someone mentioned it earlier that it is possible Wash shifts to another gear in the playoffs.Agreed, but I will say right now that there’s no way the Caps are running through Boston, Toronto/Tampa, and Colorado/Vegas to win a cup.
They’re in that tier of teams that’s good and experienced enough to coast into the playoffs, but not at the level of the true contenders. If their shooting percentage regresses at all, they’re screwed.
i’m not sure how they’re seeding for the playoffs but a washington/boston matchup would be fun as f*** to watch
Literally what are you talking about
His last 2 goals before today were a late game tying goal and an OT winner
Haven’t checked the totals but Boston played them well a couple times I watched. There was the game Wilson took the double minor and Boston scored three times. The pace of Boston’s play gives the Caps problems I think.Would it really? I think Washington would breeze through Boston. Oddly I think Washington pitt would be a better matchup. The rags would probably find a way to own the caps again....
Boston can’t score in the regular season and that only gets harder in the playoffs. It would involve a significant TDL splash, Kase coming back staying healthy and contributing, and/or some random scoring heroes coming up big. I don’t see the Bruins going far in the PO, they’re built for the regular season at this point.Would it really? I think Washington would breeze through Boston. Didn’t goaltending really lose us this one? I mean Blackwood let in a soft goal or two and failed to save a few more you don’t fault him on but that were stoppable pucks.Line combinations at least had some promise. And at least they are making games exciting to watch for the most part. But it’s strange how they just don’t have the game to match Washington. A veteran team that plays heavy but also skilled. That’s the nightmare matchup.

Faceoffs today they were much better I think they won 35 of 56. That's .625% and guess what they were better on offense without Palms. Faceoffs mean so much.
I must give Zacha credit today he had 7 of 14, so much better, he still goes in my opinion.
