Not dirty player gives 2 goddamn ***** that they will have to fight 5 foot Shaw.
It's not about fighting anymore in my opinion. It's knowing the Habs have Shea Weber, who can rough up a lot of players if he wishes to. It's also knowing that Andrew Shaw has a short fuse, and will not hesitate to retaliate in case of a dirty play.
Teams might try to capitalize on Shaw's propensity to get penalties, which should in itself, lower the amount of dirty plays. I'm just stating my opinion here, but I'm glad he's with us. He can score and can stand up for his teammates.
