Defense needs to focus on staying between the puck and goaltender. Enough with the odd man rushes. We are building a team full of superstar forwards, let them do the offense. Be patient, don't get lured into a track meet and the chances will come.

Keep playing Igor until he works through whatever he's going through. He isn't tracking the puck, he isn't controlling the puck and he isn't moving the puck like he is known for.

That's it. It's too early to be this mad on a Saturday. Need some good news here soon, but after the Kravy trade it kind of feels like it's gonna get worse.

Not saying there haven't been issues but goaltending is problems 1, 2, and 3.

Also the PK which is mostly goaltending.

It’s not just the losses since coming back from the west coast. The efforts has been really bad. I gave them a pass on Winnipeg because that schedule was rough, but the last 2 games were brutal.

I don't know why this is so hard for this team to grasp. The better you play defense, the better chance you turn that defense into a goal. Getting the lead first is key and takes some pressure off the goalie to play lights out. Continue playing good D and you'll force the other team into mistakes.

Today and that game encapsulated everything it means to be a Ranger fan. The full spectrum of emotion.

Started off hyped about trading for an aging star while watching the aging star they acquired 2 weeks ago play terrible hockey.

Bad injury at a bad time on a questionable hit. Other team continues to goon it up. Rangers can't match. Caps trolling and roughing up Rangers at every whistle, NYR players smile and look at their skates.

Player who takes out the NYR player has a multi goal night.

Team looks generally weak and uninspired. Terrible puck management. Terrible defensive coverage.

Miller has quietly been having a really rough stretch for a while now. Add him to the list of players who need to figure it out if the NYR are going to make any noise.

Then you got the broadcast being the trolling cherry on top. Dave Jackson the officiating shill, I mean, rules expert forgetting that boarding is still in the rulebook. Showing Oshie's hit 5x as a "highlight".

Zero effort performance by the majority of the lineup.

They let a couple caps players embarrass them physically and on the scoreboard.

Miller has looked abysmal for a while now. People like to blame Trouba but Miller is the weak link on that pair right now.

Kreider is skating every game like he’s at 20% health, if this is what you’re going to look like then sit out and get healthy.

Trocheck can’t finish.

Igor has been atrocious. I don’t want to hear the excuses. Teams are going to give up good chances against every game, you need your goalie to at least stop some of them. Since the ASG, he’s been atrocious. Basically every scoring chance he faces is a goal against. How is the team supposed to do anything when their goalie is minimum 4 goals against every night. Halak gives this team a far better chance to win right now.

If this is roughly the Igor we get in the playoffs we are going to get clowned by the Devils.
