Fitting that 2000s night will be against the Avs. Maybe Steve Moore makes a surprise appearance.

Almost a 'guaranteed loss night'....Avs are rolling and on paper, might be the best team in the Western Conference right now. Yep, better than the Blues imo.

And look at their cap situation....one of the lowest payrolls in the NHL for dramatic results on the ice. If Joe Sacic isn't in consideration for GM of the year, there's no justice. I'm sure the Aquilini's would love to have him, particularly when they look at the Canucks ghastly payroll.

Another 40-plus shot night for Demko almost a certainty. I suppose if he can perform some miracles in the crease, they have a chance. But as they say in casino parlance, 'you'd go broke betting on it'.

Management is fine, they just need to upgrade the defense, get rid of some bad contracts and get smarter.

Green makes terrible choices, the team rode Markstrom into the ground. Had we played Demko a few more times he may of been ready for this stretch

They need to play better defense, since their goaltending ain't what it was. But then they won't score as many goals. Either way they are not good enough without exceptional goaltending on a nightly basis.

Bigger picture they need to have a better defensive structure if they ever hope to be a contender.
