If they send Bailey (not waiver exempt) and Gaudette (waiver exempt) to Utica, waive / trade Goldobin, and put Roussel on LTIR, they'll be down to 14 forwards.

I doubt Benning will be clearing out any of the deadwood.

How many forwards we have isn't even the biggest issue - cap space is. One of the veteran leaders will have to be shipped out otherwise we aren't signing Boeser.

Nyqvist + Ferland and keep our first or Ferland + Miller - 1st and 3rd

Watching Jim try to juggle this cap is hilarious

Ugh. Took longer than expected but predictable.

Only hope is that because this dragged on for 10 days that he's coming it at lower value than expected.

Guy is a decent bottom-6 grinder who has had his numbers ridiculously inflated by playing with Gaudreau/Monahan and Aho/Teravainen for the past two years and dragging those elite linemates down. Should be a $2 million player but will get way more than that.

How many forwards do we have now?

What do the advanced stats look like? I believe you, but like, I want to not believe you because I'm hoping this won't turn out too bad.
