yea Kassian the big tough mega hitter is being all but run out of town and publicly trashed by Benning, you know that guy who values big tough mega hitters more than anything...or something????

so far it looks like Benning really appreciates smallish skilled players-and good on him too, you need a good mix of players.

Bennings brought in a higher ratio of no hitters than Gillis did.

Bonino Vey Clendenning Baertschi Vrbata are all skilled players who aren't physical or gritty.

Sbisa and Dorsett are the two acquisitions with a bit of sandpaper.

I'm having a hard time figuring out if you're defending Benning or criticizing him.

they're trying to make Kassian something he isn't, sure he lays the occasional big hit and can drop em, but they expect him to be Lucic out there when that's not his playing style. he's a middle 6 playmaking winger with size and grit, I don't really see him as a power forward though.
