Sweet. My only worry is that he pulls a Panarin and we miss out on bedard. He can pull a panarin or kaprisov next year.

Chances are he’s nothing remotely close to Panarin but that would be sweet.

Honestly even if he doesn't pan out (I think he will be a decent 2nd liner) this is just a nice change from the previous management. The effort the front office went to, the amount of individuals involved who stepped up and went out of their way to make Kuz want to come to Vancouver the most is so important. It's a great start for this management group that there is a plan and a concerted effort to act out that plan

Bruce is so clutch too, went so far out to chat with Kuz and obviously won him over

Good stuff. No idea how he will fit over here but it's nice to win on one of these kind of things for once.

Was Detroit one of the final 5? LA, Edm, Van and from the agent Fla. what other reason would there be for him to be in Michigan.

That seems to be the implication for him to be in Michigan but I haven't heard anyone outright report that.

Organization NHL LW chart is now: Miller, Pearson, Kuzmenko, Hoglander.

Probably nice for them to have at least one certainty pencilled into their top nine left side going into the draft because I don’t see any of the previous three as guarantees to be back next season.

Well , thats pretty cool...After months of being fairly inactive on the player transaction front, the GM (and Boudreau) comes through with a free agent signing...Good on him.

This is actually groundbreaking for the Canucks,.. having a Russian player choose Vancouver over a US destination ...(the team had an embargo on them 9 years ago).

The last prime aged impact player the Canucks signed was Hamhuis.
