This team that doesn’t really have super offensive talent, happens to score 23 goals against us in 4 meetings so far if we are unable to win this one it really shows how bad we truly are.

I think we take this one. Demko is still hot from last week and will again mask the problems this team has. 3-1 for the good guys.

They need a bounce back game. I figured at best they split Montreal. It's a 6 game road trip. For me, best they would do is 4-2, and that's best case. Beat Win, Split Mon, and take 2/3 from Tor. But, more realistic is that they go 3-3 with maybe an OT/SO result mixed in.

Outside of Ottawa, very difficult to sweep 3 games from any of the other 5 clubs.

They don’t have elite offensive players but they’re essentially rolling 3 second lines and their 4th is a really good 3rd line.

That plus a stout defence and good coaching.

He simply had an egregious effort last game. Not just the turnovers (which everyone was doing), but simply no effort to get the puck back at all after he gives it away. He had multiple "controller disconnected" moments.

That's not something that's acceptable from someone who wants to be a leader on the team.

Are these the confirmed lines? I don't like Hoglander on the 4th nor Boeser with Motte/Gaudette. Or wasting Petey with Pearson/Virtanen.
I think all our top guys will have a better game tonight, but is it enough to win? I don't know. Demko will have to stand on his head for us to have a chance.

He's had experience with third line duties in the past, so it could make sense. Pettersson would be in trouble in the faceoff department with no backup though.

Good coaching and nice depth. Doesn't change the fact that they're probably a 10-15 tier team and we're making them look like 1-5 tier team.

I agree, but I don't know if Juolevi would be much better unless they shelter his minutes. Otherwise you're looking at Rafferty, Rathbone or Brisebois. Pretty slim pickings.
